India vs West Indies Post-match Review

The 2nd T20 International took place last night between India vs West Indies. After defeat in the first T20 West Indies were eager to outsmart India. West Indies in T20 is generally a powerhouse but unfortunately, recently they slipped drastically. West Indies lost the first T20 badly.


India vs West Indies 2nd T20 took place yesterday, West Indies captain won the toss and choose to bowl inviting Indian Team to bat. Indian Openers Kishan and Sharma started slowly but were eventually dismissed for cheap. Then came India mojo man Virat Kohli along with Rishabh Pant started playing shots. Both Kolhi and Pant played excellently. Kohli brought is well deserved 50. Indian Fans got to see some runs from Kohli's bat after so long. But soon in 14th over Virat was dismissed. Surya too went for cheap. Then Two handers Pant and V.Iyer combined and gave India a flourishing finish. India ended with a score of 186. For Windies Roston Chase was the pick of bowlers for them.




West Indies needed 187 from 20 overs to win. West Indies opener King and Mayers started slow and steady. By end of the powerplay, West Indies were 35 runs. West Indies innings never went with the asking rate. West Indies were 60/2 at end of 9 overs. Then came a 100 run stands between Roman Powell and Nicholas Pooran both batted beautifully, they took on the Indian attack and smashed them all over the park. Pooran and Powell put on 100 partnerships from just 60 balls.


Even with all efforts from Pooran and Powell West Indies were always short and by end of the match West Indies felt short by 9 runs.
