India vs Sri Lanka : Review 2nd Test Match

After a disappointing loss in the 1st test match , Sri Lankan came to Bangalore with high hopes of performing better. This test match was a day and night test match. It was a pink ball test match. Pink Ball test matches are always tricky as the ball does a bit extra.

Indian Captain Rohit Sharma decided to bat again and Indian openers again came out to bat.

India batted better than their first innings. Again Shreyas Iyer got his 2nd fifty of the match and Rishab Pant too contributed with the bat and India declared their innings on 303 on 3rd day morning. With 447 to win, it was always a trick for Sri Lanka to win the match. The Sri Lankan captain showed fight to his hundred but other Sri Lankan players bowled out mostly in single digits and thus Sri Lanka was eventually bowled out for 208 in their 2nd innings meaning India completed a clean sweep winning the match by 238 runs and the series by 2-0 margin.
